Q. Will the enhancement process change the carat weight.
A. No

Q. Is the diamond's color effected?
A. No..

Q. Can a diamond's color be enhanced?
A. Yes. The best are: fancy or exotic yellows, fancy blue and fancy cognac. This color enhancement process is made to last a lifetime. Clarity and color enhancements are too much for one stone to handle. Only one enhancement process should be done on each diamond.

Q. Why buy a Hadar CE diamond?
A. Simply stated - for its remarkable value! Now you can buy a diamond 2x the size with a much better "look" and save 60-75%.

Q. How long have clarity enhanced diamonds been available?
A. Since 1982.

Q. Can I have a personal laser inscription I.D. on my CE diamond?
A. With the advent of this new technology, laser inscription is acceptable. Lasering will not effect the integrity of the stone. Price = $100.

Q. Will my CE diamond hold or increase in value?
A. Increase like all gem quality diamonds.

Q. How long will the process last?
The G.I.A. confirms that the CE process is stable under normal wear and tear. Avoid exposing the stone to immense heat as you would with a green emerald. The enhancement process is permanent, but can be reversed only in boiling acid or from a jewelers' torch. If your CE diamond jewelry needs sizing or repair always inform the jeweler of the enhancement. The jeweler will take the necessary precautions by unmounting the stone prior to performing work with a torch. Hadar employs a jewelry repair division.

Q. Is there any special care for my CE diamond?
No. It is safe to use jewelry cleaner or have your diamond steam cleaned. Care for CE diamonds as you would a diamond that has not been enhanced.
